Overview:

The LMH1229RTVR is a long-range adaptive cable equalizer with an integrated clock recoverer, dual output, and 75Ω loop-through output. The device is designed to equalize data transmitted over 75Ω coaxial cables and can operate in the SMPTE data rate range of 125Mbps to 11.88Gbps.

To simplify wiring and facilitate debugging, the LMH1229 has a 1:3 output multiplexer; The multiplexer consists of two 100Ω fan-out outputs with VOD and de-accentuating controls and one 75Ω loop-through SDI output. The 75-ω loop-through output is provided to extend signal coverage or enable system-level diagnostics.

For cable equalizer applications, the LMH1229 is pin-compatible with the LMH1297 (12G UHD-SDI bidirectional I/O with integrated clock recoverer).

• Integrated no-reference clock restorer locks at the following SMPTE rates: 11.88Gbps, 5.94Gbps, 2.97Gbps, 1.485Gbps or 1.001 sub rate, 270Mbps
