Overview of DAC8830ICDR

The DAC8830ICDR is a single-channel, 16-bit, serial-input, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) powered by a single 3 V to 5 V supply. Over the specified temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, these converters offer excellent linearity (1 LSB INL), low flicker, low noise, and fast settling (1.0 µS to 1/2 LSB of full-scale output). The outputs are unbuffered, which reduces power consumption and buffer-induced errors.


The devices have a standard high-speed (clocked up to 50 MHz), 3 V or 5 V SPI serial interface for communication with a DSP or microprocessor.
