Overview:

The LPC55S28JBD100E ARM® Cortex®-M33 microcontroller (MCU) offers the perfect balance between security, performance efficiency and system integration for the general embedded and industrial iot markets. The LPC55S2x MCU family combines the high performance efficiency of the Cortex-M33 core with multiple high-speed interfaces, integrated power management ics, and rich analog integrations. These devices are part of the LPC5500 MCU family and feature cost-effective 40nm NVM process technology with pin, software and peripheral compatibility for ease of use and reduced time to market. The family is powered by NXP's comprehensive support package, including MCUXpresso software and tools, and low-cost development boards.

The LPC55S2x MCU family offers a variety of connectivity options, including high-speed USB with on-chip PHY, high-speed SPI, SDIO, and the common FlexComm interface (configurable as SPI/I2C/I2S, UART). Security features include SRAM Physically unclonable functionality (PUF) for trusted root and configuration, hardware symmetric encryption/decryption engine, security debugging, and PRINCE engine for real-time execution of encrypted images.
