Product Introduction:

The LM61495Q3RPHRQ1 step-down converter is an automotive regulator that offers a fixed or adjustable output voltage (can be set from 1V to 95% of the expected input voltage). These regulators operate over a wide input voltage range (3V to 36V) and can withstand transient tolerances up to 42V.


The LM61495Q3RPHRQ1 is designed for low EMI. The device has a spread frequency with selectable pins and an adjustable SW node rise time. Double random spread frequency (DRSS) frequency hopping is set to ±4% (typical), which significantly reduces peak emission through a combination of triangle modulation and pseudo-random modulation, and uses advanced techniques to reduce output voltage ripple caused by spread frequency modulation.

- Temperature Class 1: -40 °C to +125°C, TA

• Provides functional safety

- Documentation to help design functional safety systems

• Input voltage range: 3V to 36V

• RESET output with filter and delayed release

• Low EMI:

- EVM compliant with CISPR 25 Level 5 requirements

- Pins can be configured with spread frequency

- The rise time of the SW node can be adjusted

- Above and below AM band operation: Pins can be configured to be fixed at 400kHz and 2.2MHz, or adjustable between 200kHz and 2.2MHz

- Low EMI pin-alignment

- For constant frequency or pulse frequency modulation (PFM), the pins can be configured in light load mode

• Efficient solutions

- 8A loads achieve 95% efficiency

- 5µA input current when unloaded in automatic mode

- <1µA turn-off current (typical)

• High power density

- Built-in compensation, soft start, current limiting, thermal shutdown and UVLO

- 4.5mm x 3.5mm wettable side QFN package

- ϴJA = 21.6°C/W, measured on LM61495RPHEVM
