The MPFS095TS-FCSG325I device is an SoC FPGA built on the PolarFire FPGA non-volatile FPGA platform.


Instructions:

PolarFire® SoC FPgas combine low power consumption, thermal efficiency and defense-grade security for smart, connected systems. These Microchip Technology devices are the first system-on-chip (SoC) field-programmable gate arrays (FPgas) with deterministic, consistent RISC-V CPU clusters. They also feature a deterministic L2 memory subsystem that supports Linux and real-time applications. PolarFire SoC devices consume 50% less power than alternative FPGas. They are based on the mid-range, low-power PolarFire FPGA architecture and contain 25k to 460k logic units (LEs) with a 12.7G transceiver. The power charts in the EEMBC CoreMark®-Pro benchmark demonstrate the low power benefits of PolarFire SoC.


FPGA features:

• Up to 461K logical unit, consisting of a 4-input look-up table (LUT) and a breakable D-trigger

• 20 KB dual-port or two-port large static random access memory (LSRAM) blocks with built-in SECDED

• 64×12 two-port µRAM block, implemented as a latch array

• 18×18 math module with a pre-adder, a 48-bit accumulator, and an optional 16-word depth × 18-bit coefficient ROM

• Built-in µPROM that can be modified at programming time and read from user data storage at runtime

High-speed serial connectivity with built-in multi-gigabit, multi-protocol transceivers with rates ranging from 250 Mbps to 12.7 Gbps

• Integrated dual x4 PCIe Gen2 endpoint (EP) and root port (RP) design

High speed I/O (HSIO) with integrated I/O digital logic supporting up to 1600 Mbps DDR4, 1333 Mbps DDR3L and 1333 Mbps LPDDR3/DDR3 memory

General-purpose I/O (GPIO), which supports 3.3V built-in CDR through integrated I/O digital logic to support serial Gigabit Ethernet, 1067 Mbps DDR3, and 1250 Mbps LVDS I/O speeds

• Low power consumption, phase-locked loop (PLL) and delay-locked loop (DLL) for high accuracy and low jitter

• 1.0V and 1.05V operating modes
