Overview:

The VSC7546-V/5CC is a 64 Gbps SMB/SME Ethernet switch that supports a combination of 1G, 2.5G, 5G and 10G Ethernet ports.

The VSC7546 SparX-5-64 has the following master port configurations:

• 6 ×10G

• 16 x 2.5G + 2 x 10G

• 24 × 1G + 4 × 10G

Microchip's SparX-5 is a family of SMB/SME Ethernet switching chips with switching bandwidths ranging from 64 Gbps to 200 Gbps, supporting 1G, 2.5G, 5G, 10G, and 25G Ethernet port combinations.

These devices provide rich enterprise Ethernet switching capabilities. It uses multilevel, multifunctional Content-aware Processor (VCAP™) technology to deliver VLAN and QoS processing capabilities, differentiated services and security through intelligent frame processing and flexible frame control.
