Introduction to the chip:

The TPS62152AQRGTRQ1 3-17V 1A step-down converter is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC-DC converter suitable for applications with high power density. With the DCS-Control™ topology, a high switching frequency with a typical value of 2.5MHz allows for the use of small inductors, provides fast transient responses, and high accuracy of the output voltage.

The device operates over a wide input voltage range from 3V to 17V, making it particularly suitable for use in systems powered by lithium ion or other batteries, or with a 12V intermediate power rail. These step-down converters can support up to 1A continuous output current (in 100% duty cycle mode) at output voltages from 0.9V to 6V.
