EC20 is the LTE module recently launched by USTC. It adopts LTE 3GPP Rel.9 technology and supports the downstream speed of 100Mbps and the upstream speed of 50Mbps. The EC20 series includes EC20-A, EC20-C, and EC20-E versions, making it backward compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks to ensure it works in remote areas where 3G and 4G networks are lacking.

The EC20 supports multiple input multiple Output (MIMO) technology, which uses multiple transmitting and receiving antennas at the transmitting and receiving ends respectively to transmit and receive signals through multiple antennas at the transmitting and receiving ends, thereby reducing bit error rate and improving communication quality. At the same time, it combines high-speed wireless connectivity with a built-in multi-constellation high precision positioning GPS+GLONASS receiver.

EC20 built-in rich network protocols, integration of multiple industry standard interfaces, a variety of operating systems and software functions (Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows7/Windows 8/8.1/Linux/Android), It greatly expands the application range of EC20 in the M2M field, such as CPE, router, data card, tablet computer, vehicle, security and industrial PDA.
