TPS563231DRLR Product Description

The TPS563231 buck regulator is an easy-to-use 3A synchronous buck converter in a SOT563 package. The device is optimized for operation with very few external components and also allows for low standby current. These switch-mode power supply (SMPS) devices use D-CAP3 mode control for fast transient response. They support both low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors, such as specialty polymers, and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors, eliminating the need for external compensation components. The TPS563231 is available in a 6-pin 1.6mm x 1.6mm SOT563 (DRL) package with a specified junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The TPS563231 can be operated in pulse-hopping mode (PSM) at light loads, maintaining high efficiency.
