The SARA-R52 family includes the following modules based on the latest u-blox UBX-R52 cellular chipset that are power optimized to achieve extremely low power consumption in PSM/eDRX deep sleep:


SARA-R520, an LTE Cat M1 / NB2 product designed for multi-regional deployments, integrates u-blox SpotNow Assisted GPS receiver technology with a separate GPS antenna interface.


Designed for multi-regional deployments, SARA-R520M10 LTE Cat M1/NB2 products integrate a high-performance u-blox M10 standard precision concurrent GNSS receiver chip for global position acquisition using a dedicated GNSS antenna interface.


These modules provide multi-band configurability, support for multi-region coverage, a set of 3GPP Rel.14 features relevant to iot applications, enhanced data communication coverage of up to 1200 kbit/s, Deeper access to buildings and basements (as well as underground using NB2) is possible in the extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
