The BCM4398D0XKWBG is a low power, highly integrated Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.2 combo chip optimized for mobile phone applications where high performance, low latency, low power consumption and small solution size are key requirements.

The BCM4398 system-on-chip contains a simultaneous dual-band (SDB) 2×2 IEEE 802.11be compliant radio, a dual-core Bluetooth 5.2 radio and a dedicated scan core for enhanced Bluetooth and WLAN system operation. The device supports 320 MHz wide channel, 5-7 GHz band support and 4K-QAM modulation.

The BCM4389C1SKFFB is a Wi-Fi 6E chip for mobile devices, using a new 16nm process, the BCM4389 supports two Wi-Fi 6E data streams, tri-band concurrency, 80/160MHz channels and data rates of 2.4Gbps (PHY physical layer rate of 2.63Gbps), with actual speeds of 2.1Gbps on mobile phones. It can reach 2.1Gbps with a stable latency of around 2ms and a current of only 0.5mA.

The Broadcom BCM4389 Wi-Fi 6E chip will be available in the next generation of flagship smartphones.
