The LPC4337JET256 microcontroller features an asymmetric dual-core digital signal controller architecture with ARM® Cortex™-M4 and Cortex-M0 processors. These NXP Cortex-M4 MCUS are equipped with Cortex-M0 coprocessors, which have the advantage of enabling digital signal processor (DSP) and MCU applications to be developed in a single architecture, development environment. The LPC4300 series Cortex-M4 processor combines the benefits of the MCU with digital signal processing capabilities such as single-cycle MAC, single-instruction Multi-data (SIMD) technology, saturation algorithms, and floating-point units. The Cortex-M0 coprocessor offloads many of the data movement and I/O processing tasks that consume the bandwidth of the Cortex-M4 core. With its dual-core architecture and unique set of configurable peripherals, NXP Semiconductors LPC4300 MCU can be used to develop a wide range of applications such as motor control, power management, industrial automation, robotics, medical devices, automotive accessories, and embedded audio.
