The PM5980B-FEI DIGI-100GX is a member of Microchip's fourth generation OTN processing solution family. It is applicable to next-generation OTN switching and Packet optical Transport (POTP/P-OTN), WDM/ROADM and hyperscale data center interconnect (DCI) equipment. The PM5980B-FEI DIGI-100GX is based on Microchip's DIGI-120G innovation. DIGI-100G is a high-density, multi-service 100G OTN processor that can meet the requirements of SDN-ready, encrypted optical transmission infrastructure.
