AB5656C is a high-performance Bluetooth audio SoC chip launched by Bluetrum, optimised for open-wearable headphones (OWS). It supports Bluetooth 6.0 (some versions upgraded to Bluetooth 5.468) and features low power consumption, high sound quality, and strong drive capabilities. It is widely used in TWS earphones, smart wearable devices, audio glasses, and other products.

1. High-Performance Audio Processing

32-bit RISC-V processor (125MHz clock speed) with DSP instructions, optimised for audio algorithm processing.

16-bit DAC (signal-to-noise ratio 102dB) + 16-bit ADC (signal-to-noise ratio 94dB), providing high-fidelity audio encoding and decoding.  

Supports bass enhancement and ENC call noise cancellation, enhancing the audio quality of open-ear headphones.  

2. Low-Power Design  

Bluetooth 6.0/5.4 low-power mode, optimising battery life.

Built-in PMU (power management unit) integrates charging management, buck/LDO, reducing the need for external circuits.  

3. Open-ear headphone optimisation  

30mW ultra-powerful driver, compatible with 12mm–14mm large dynamic drivers, enhancing low-frequency performance.  

Directional sound transmission technology (DT) reduces sound leakage, improving the privacy of open-ear headphones.

4. Rich peripheral interfaces  

Supports touch control and GPIO wake-up, enhancing the user experience.  

Programmable audio equaliser supports sampling rates from 8 to 48 kHz, accommodating various audio effect requirements.
