The 5CEFA7F31C8N device uses a 28-nanometer ALM as the basic building block of its logic architecture. The ALM features an 8-input divisible look-up table (LUT) with four dedicated registers, which helps improve timing closure in register-rich designs and enables higher design packability than previous generations of products. 5CEFA7F31C8N has variable-precision DSPs to support these features block: configurable to support 9 x 9, 18 x 18, and 27 x 27 bit signal processing precision; 64-bit accumulator, hard pre-adder in both 18-bit and 27-bit modes; and cascaded output adder for highly efficient systolic finite impulse response (FIR) filters.
