The ATSAM4S8BA-MU is a flash memory microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex™-M4 core, featuring up to 512KB of flash memory and 128KB of SRAM. The hardware security has been improved and intellectual property rights can be protected by preventing access to the on-chip memory.

The dynamic mode power consumption at low operating frequencies is 200µA/MHz. In standby mode, when running the RTC, it is 30mA at 100MHz and 3µA at 1.8V.

The external bus interface supports SRAM, PSRAM, NOR flash memory, LCD module and NAND flash memory

It features a large set of peripheral devices and can be used for connection, system control and analog interfaces

Natively supports Atmel QTouch® capacitive touch technology, enabling buttons, sliders and rollers

The pins are compatible with Atmel SAM7S, SAM3N and SAM3S MCUS
