The LPC4078FBD144 is an Arm Cortex-M4 based digital signal controller for embedded applications requiring high integration and low power consumption.
The Arm Cortex-M4 is a next-generation core that provides system-enhancing features such as low power consumption, enhanced debugging features, and high-level block integration support.The Arm Cortex-M4 CPU contains a 3-stage pipeline with a Harvard architecture with separate local instruction and data buses, a third bus for peripherals, and includes internal prefetching for speculative branching support. The single-cycle digital signal processor and SIMD instructions are supported by the single-cycle Arm Cortex-M4. Several versions of this model have a hardware floating-point processor integrated into the core.
