The AM5718AABCXEQ1 device is a highly flexible, fully integrated hybrid processor solution with extremely high processing performance. In addition, the device combines programmable video processing with a highly integrated peripheral set. Programmability is achieved through a single-core ARM Cortex-A15 RISC CPU with a Neon™ expansion kit and the TI C66x VLIW floating-point DSP core. With the ARM processor, developers can reduce system software complexity by separating control functions from vision algorithms written on DSPs and coprocessors.The AM5718 Sitara ARM processor family is AEC-Q100 compliant.
