The Broadcom PEX88064B0 is a high-performance PCI Express Gen 4.0 switch, part of the PEX88000 series. This series of switches builds on the foundation of the PEX series, offering higher performance and a wider range of application scenarios.The PEX88064B0 supports 66 lanes and 66 ports, making it suitable for building high-performance, low-latency computing systems.

The PEX88064B0 switch helps data centres and cloud providers build flexible, scalable rack infrastructures with the following benefits:

Switches enable I/O sharing through standard SR-IOV or multifunction capabilities, allowing multiple hosts to reside on a single PCIe fabric topology. Hosts communicate with other standard hosts and endpoints using application software via generic DMA or NT. Also included is Tunneled Windows Connection (TWC), a special low-latency host-to-host communication feature for short packets. Other features include:
