The new PCIe Gen 5.0 (32 GT/s) PEX89000 series builds on the longevity of the Broadcom family of switches, which now spans 13 series. The PEX89000 series allows customers to build systems from simple PCIe connectivity in a box to high-performance, low-latency, scalable, cost-effective PCIe fabrics for combinable hyperscale computing systems supporting ML/AI and server/storage applications.

The PEX89000 switch delivers up to 1024 Gb/s (128 GB/s) of raw bandwidth per port (x16), enabling designers to:

The PEX89032 is a high-performance 32-channel PCIe 5.0 switch designed for building high-performance computing systems. Supporting 32 channels and 32 ports, the switch meets the needs of data centres, cloud computing platforms, and high-performance computing systems.
