The F6202AVGI is an 8-channel single-beam receive active beamforming RF IC multi-chip module designed for use in Ka-band SATCOM planar phased array antennas. The IC has eight RF input ports, two RF output ports, and eight phase/amplitude control channels. The eight input ports of the IC can be driven by either eight single-polarised elements of an electronically scanned array (ESA) or four dual-polarised elements. Each channel has 6-bit digital phase and gain control resolution spanning 360° and a dynamic range of 26dB for precise beam pattern and polarisation control.
