The NRF52811-CAAA-R7 is a Bluetooth 5.2 SoC with multi-protocol support and is the fourth addition to the nRF52 family of platforms. It adds to an already rich platform that covers a wide range of applications and use cases.

The NRF52811-CAAA-R7 SoC features the latest and most powerful features of Bluetooth 5.1, most notably the direction finding function, which takes Bluetooth positioning to a whole new level.

The chip is based on an Arm® Cortex™-M4 processor clocked at 64 MHz. It has a number of digital peripherals and interfaces such as PDM, PWM, UART, SPI and TWI. it also has a 12-bit analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). Very low power consumption is achieved through the use of an advanced on-chip adaptive power management system.

The NRF52811-CAAA-R7 SoC supports a wide range of wireless protocols. It supports low-power Bluetooth with Bluetooth direction finding and positioning, as well as long range mode and 2 Mbps transmission rate. Thread and 2.4 GHz private protocols are also supported. With up to 4 dBm transmit power, it is professionally optimised to provide the best receive sensitivity of any SoC in the nRF52 family.
