The MT79335 is a single-stage, high power factor (PF), primary-side controlled AC to DC LED driver chip. MT79335 integrates an on-chip PF function and operates in critical conduction mode to achieve high power factor and reduce MOSFET power switching losses. Using Myson's unique control technology (patent pending), LED current can be precisely controlled without the need for secondary sensing devices such as optocouplers.

The MT79335 has a built-in 600V high voltage power tube, simplifying the peripheral circuitry.

The MT79335 also implements various protection functions including Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP) and Over Temperature Protection (OTP) to ensure reliable system operation.
