Samtec FTSH .050" (1.27mm) miniature terminal block pins are available in a variety of standard options. These options include surface mount, vertical or horizontal orientation, through-hole or hybrid technology tails, and a variety of terminal block heights. In addition, FTSH terminal strips offer users a variety of end shield and pop-up shield options for alignment with polarisation and keying or blind insertion. These FTSH series SMT terminal block pins are mated to the FFSD/FFTP series cable assemblies, CLP series miniature inserts and FLE series inserts.

The FTSH miniature terminal strips are Extended Life Product™ (E.L.P.™), have passed the 10 year Mixed Flow Gas (MFG) test and achieve high mating times (250 to 2500).The E.L.P.™ products have been tested to exacting standards. These standards assess contact resistance under simulated storage and field conditions. the FTSH series miniature ribbon connectors have 0.25μm gold plated terminals and matte tin plating on the tail wiring. These FTSH series ribbon pins are manufactured using black liquid crystal polymer as the insulator and phosphor bronze as the terminal material.
