The BCM88480CA0KFSBG switch provides 800 Gb/s packet processing in a single device at a high interface rate, while integrating a hierarchical traffic manager, scalable packet buffer memory, and Elastic Pipe™ packet processing.

The BCM88480 supports standard implementation of Ethernet rates, scaling from 1 Gb Ethernet to 100, 200 and 400 Gb Ethernet ports. The built-in InterLaken interface enables direct connection to external framers and processors.
