The BCM88830CAOKFSBG is a 3.2Tb /s StrataDNX™ Jericho2x Ethernet switch. Broadcom's Jericho2x switch SOCs, combined with Ramon, are ideal for carrier Ethernet, edge and core routers, mobile backhauls, data center cloud, transport and access segments.

Jericho2x delivers 3.2Tb /s packet processing in a single device with high interface bandwidth, while integrating a scalable multi-TB switching matrix, hierarchical traffic manager, scalable packet buffer memory, and Elastic Pipe™ packet processing.

Integrated accelerators for carrier service management provide visibility and control to carrier networks and distributed data centers across a wide area network (WAN).

This unique combination enables device manufacturers to achieve higher port density, lower power consumption, and greater user scale in a smaller physical system size, revolutionizing the economics of router devices.

Jericho2x supports standard implementations of Ethernet rates, scaling from 1 Gb Ethernet to 100, 200 and 400 Gb Ethernet ports. The built-in InterLaken interface enables direct connection to external framers and processors.

Jericho2x also integrates a Flexible Ethernet (FlexE) interface. FlexE can be used for backhaul, transmission, and DCI applications to better control the flow of the transmission.
