Broadcom® BCM88920A0KFRBG, the sixth generation of the StrataDNX™ Structural Component (FE) device line, is a cell based self-routing switching element. Together with the BCM88860 / BCM88890, the BCM88920 provides a complete solution for switching structures, traffic management, packet processing and network interfaces. The switching platform can be scaled up to 50,000 400GbE ports or 25,000 800GbE ports.

The BCM88920 offers scalability in three dimensions: port rate, port count, and traffic management services, allowing users to connect mixed-rate line cards (e.g. 4.8 Tbps to 30.4 Tbps per line card) with various traffic management schemes.
