The BCM56960B1KFSBG chip belongs to Broadcom's BCM56960 family, also known as the StrataXGS® Tomahawk switch family, which helps build highly scalable, feature rich top-of-shelf (ToR) blade or aggregation switches for cloud-scale networking. StrataXGS Tomahawk is the first switch family to offer 25 Gb/s SerDes to support 25/50/100GBE. It offers a total switching capacity of 3.2 Tb/s, ranging from 32 100 GbE ports to 128 25 GbE ports, with the flexibility to configure port types and speeds to suit any high-performance networking application.
