The BCM56990B0KFLGG is a high-performance, high-capacity switch chip designed to meet the requirements of next-generation data center and cloud computing environments. The BCM56990 architecture provides full L2 and L3 switching, routing, and tunneling capabilities with line speed and maximum port density, low power consumption, and low latency.

The device family features up to 64 integrated Blackhawk7 (50G-PAM4) or 32 Osprey (100G-PAM4) SerDes cores, as well as associated PCS with native support for numerous physical connectivity options, supporting a wide range of media, speeds and coverage. The BCM56990 offers high-bandwidth, seamless network connectivity of up to 25.6 Tb/s on a single chip.
