The BCM56690A0KFSBG is a StrataXGS Trident 4 Ethernet switch chip designed to meet the performance, capacity and service requirements of next-generation data center and cloud computing environments, as well as high-bandwidth enterprise and mobile network applications. The Trident 4 architecture provides compiler-driven, user-programmable forwarding and plug-in capabilities at extremely high port density while maintaining minimal power consumption, latency, and board size.
