The CR636A regulates the output voltage of a 14V alternator to a constant value.

The regulator continuously detects the output voltage, speed, temperature, and excitation current of the alternator. It regulates the excitation current to keep the output voltage constant. The output voltage can be adjusted to any value within the established range by PWM command.
