The ATECC608B-SSHDA-B CryptoAuthentication™ device is a high-security encryption device that protects hardware-based key storage with up to 16 keys. The device operates from a power supply voltage range of 2V to 5.5V and a standard temperature range of -40°C to 85°C in an 8-SOIC package.

The ATECC608B device combines world-class hardware-based key storage with a hardware encryption accelerator to implement a variety of authentication and encryption protocols.

The ATECC608B device offers higher security than the ATECC608A while being fully backward compatible. These devices feature two high-durability monotonic counters, a unique 72-bit serial number, and an internal high-quality NIST SP 800-90A/B/C random number generator (RNG).

The ATECC608B CryptoAuthentication device supports full ECDSA code signature verification, optional communication key disabling before secure startup, and message authentication to prevent on-board attacks.
