The RN4678APL-VB/RM111 is a fully certified Bluetooth dual-mode (BR/EDR/LE) module that enables designers to easily add classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth Smart features to their products. The RN4678 provides on-premises connectivity for the Internet of Things (IoT), connecting products to smartphones and tablets to facilitate data transfer, control, and access to cloud applications.

This Bluetooth SIG certification module provides a complete wireless solution, integrating an onboard Bluetooth stack, antenna and global radio certification in a 22 x 12 x 2.4mm compact table mount package with support for GAP, SDP, SPP and GATT modes. Send/receive data via transparent UART mode, transfer data over Bluetooth link for easy integration with any processor or microcontroller with UART interface. Configuration is made simple through UART's ASCII commands.
