The Broadcom ACPL-064L digital CMOS optocoupler is an ultra-low power, 10MBd device that integrates an AIGaAs LED and a high-gain photodetector. The forward LED current of the ACPL-064L is as low as 1.6 MA, which means that most microprocessors can drive leds directly. The device also achieves maximum AC and DC circuit isolation while maintaining TTL/CMOS compatibility.
