The BCM81358A0KFSBG is a single-chip, 8×56 Gb/s full-duplex pulse amplitude modulation (PAM-4) PHY that supports PAM-4 and non-return-to-zero (NRZ) data formats. The BCM81358 supports various operating modes such as retimer and transmission mode. It also supports 10G, 25G, 40G, 50G, 100G, 200G and 400G cable card applications. On-chip clock synthesis is performed by a low-cost 156.25 MHz reference clock via a high-frequency, low-jitter phase-locked loop (PLL).
