The BCM81356A0KFSBG is a single-chip, 16×56 Gb/s full-duplex pulse amplitude modulation (PAM-4) PHY. The BCM81356 low power device supports PAM-4 and non-return-to-zero (NRZ) data formats. It supports various operating modes such as retimer and transmission mode. It also supports 10G, 25G, 40G, 50G, 100G, 200G and 400G cable card applications. On-chip clock synthesis is performed by a low-cost 156.25 MHz reference clock via a high-frequency, low-jitter phase-locked loop (PLL).
