The VCNL4035X01-GS18 integrates a proximity sensor (PS), an ambient light sensor (ALS), a multiplexer, and a driver for up to 3 external IREDs/LEDs in a small package using a CMOS process that integrates a photodiode, amplifier, and analogue-to-digital converter circuits into a single chip. 16-bit, high-resolution ALSs offer excellent sensing capability, and there are enough options for both dark and high lens designs to meet most applications.
