The TEF6657AHN is a single-chip radio IC that includes an AM/FM radio tuner and software-defined radio signal processing. The device is the successor to the industry-proven TEF661X product family, which improves performance and feature set while reducing system costs.

The radio receiver includes AM/FM front end, tuning synthesizer, channel filtering, FM multiplex improvement, demodulation, FM stereo decoding, weak signal processing, noise suppression, RDS, and DARC support.
