Product Description

The KW45B41Z82AFTBR's triple-core architecture integrates a 96MHz CM33 application core, a dedicated CM3 wireless module core, and an isolated EdgeLock security zone. The flash-based wireless module core with dedicated SRAM provides a highly configurable and scalable software implementation of the wireless module, freeing up resources on the main core for customer application space.


The low-power Bluetooth 5.3-compliant wireless module supports up to 24 simultaneous secure connections. the isolated execution environment of the EdgeLock secure zone provides a set of cryptographic accelerators, key storage operations and secure lifecycle management, minimising the main core security responsibilities.


The KW45 MCU also integrates FlexCAN, which facilitates seamless integration into a vehicle's on-board or industrial CAN communication network.The FlexCAN module can support CAN's Flexible Data Rate (CAN FD) for higher bandwidth and lower latency.
