The MLX90397RLQ-AAA-000-SP Magnetometer is a position sensor IC with Triaxis® Hall technology optimised for battery powered designs. The magnetic field can be measured along three axes, X, Y and Z (Y is a plane parallel to the chip surface and Z is a plane perpendicular to the surface). Measured values and IC temperatures are converted to 16-bit words and transmitted over the I2C communication channel as required. The device transmits the compensated raw measurement data for the selected Bx, By, Bz or combination. Designed for position sensor applications with a range of ±50mT, Bz has an adapted range of ±200mT.
