The ITV5432L1230WR is a three-terminal, surface-mount lithium-ion battery protector designed to prevent overcurrent and overcharge. The series ITV uses a fuse element to operate stably under normal electrical current and cut off current in the event of overcurrent. The heater is embedded directly under the chemical fuse element, and when the IC or field effect transistor (FET) detects an overvoltage, it generates heat to blow the fuse. Applications for ITV battery protectors include electric bicycles, power tools, automobiles, energy storage systems, and drones.
