The Texas Instruments CC3220MODASF12MONR Simplelink™ wireless microcontroller (MCU) modules support base station, AP and Wi-Fi Direct® modes. the CC3220MODx and CC3220MODAx modules also support WPA2 personal and enterprise security. This subsystem includes embedded TCP/IP and TLS/SSL stacks, HTTP servers and multiple Internet protocols. The module supports a variety of Wi-Fi configuration methods including AP mode based HTTP, SmartConfig™ technology and WPS2.0. The power management subsystem integrates DC/DC converters and supports a wide range of supply voltages. The subsystem supports low power modes that extend battery life, such as low power deep sleep mode, sleep mode with RTC (consuming only 5µA) and shutdown mode (consuming only 1µA). The module includes a variety of peripherals including a fast parallel camera interface, I2S, SD, UART, SPI, I2C and a 4-channel analogue-to-digital converter (ADC).
