The ISL95869 is fully compliant with the Intel IMVP9 specification and provides a complete solution for the main input rail power supply to the processor. It provides a voltage regulator (VR) with two integrated and one external gate driver. The VR can be configured as 3 phase, 2 phase or 1 phase to provide maximum flexibility. the VR uses a serial control bus (SVID) to communicate with the CPU, enabling lower cost and smaller board area.
