The Melexis MLX90393SLQ-ABA-011-SP Triaxis® Micropower Magnetometers are designed for micropower applications, with programmable duty cycles ranging from 0.1% to 100%.The MLX90393 series can be reprogrammed to different modes and settings at runtime. These sensors use Melexis' proprietary 3-axis technology to provide a 16-bit output proportional to the flux density sensed along the XYZ axis, as well as a temperature output signal. These digital values are available via I2C and SPI, where the MLX90393 is a slave device on the bus. By selecting the axis to be measured, the raw data can be used as input for further post-processing, for example for joystick applications, rotary knobs and more complex 3D position sensing applications.

The Melexis MLX90393SLQ-ABA-011-SP 3-axis micropower magnetometer is available in a compact UTDFN-8 package, making it ideal for applications where space is limited.
