Description.

The MSP430I2040TPWR microcontroller (MCU) is part of the MSP430 metering and monitoring product family. The architecture and integrated peripherals are combined with five low-power modes and optimised for extended battery life in portable and battery-powered measurement applications. The device features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers and constant generator to help achieve maximum coding efficiency. A digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) allows the device to wake up from low-power mode to active mode in less than 5µs.
