AT&T has recently updated its online coverage map to include information about its mid-band 5G services, according to foreign media reports. AT&T hopes to reach approximately 100 million people by the end of this year with its mid-band 5G network using C-band and 3.45GHz spectrum.

AT&T's online coverage map now shows its mid-band 5G coverage, called "5G+". 


AT&T has labelled its medium-band network "5G+" and has deployed high-band, millimeter-wave (mmWave) spectrum in a number of stadiums, airports and other locations that it calls "5G+ venues". Like Verizon, AT&T uses the regular "5G" label for its low-band 5G network.


AT&T is lagging behind Verizon and T-Mobile in deploying mid-band spectrum for 5G. Verizon hopes to reach about 175 million people with its C-band mid-band 5G network by the end of this year, while T-Mobile expects to reach about 260 million people with its own 2.5GHz mid-band 5G network by then.
