Infineon Technologies has introduced the ModusToolbox motor suite. This comprehensive solution of software, tools and resources can be used to develop, configure and monitor motor control applications. The solution is suitable for all types of motors and enables developers to quickly and efficiently roll out high-performance motor control applications. The suite supports industrial, robotic and consumer applications such as home appliances, HVAC, drones, light electric vehicles and more.

The kit also provides easy and accurate board setup, comprehensive signal analysis, and custom condition monitoring. The ModusToolbox motor suite features automatic detection and identification of supported boards and kits, real-time visualization, and monitoring of motor control-related signals. It also optimizes system performance through pre-configuration algorithms and real-time monitoring of key system parameters. In addition, the solution's advanced algorithms guarantee control stability for a wide range of motor types and applications. The solution currently includes out-of-the-box support for Infineon XMC7000 microcontrollers (MCUS) and will be further extended to industrial MCUS. PSOC Control integration is now confirmed to be available in an upcoming release.
