Product Description:

The LTC3304CRUCM is a 5V, 6A synchronous step-down regulator in a 2mm × 2mm FCQFN package with a 2.25V to 5.5V input power supply. The regulator uses constant frequency, peak current mode control to achieve fast transient response with small external components.

The LTC3304 can operate in forced continuous or pulse jump mode for low noise, or in low ripple burst mode for high efficiency under light load conditions and is suitable for battery powered systems. The IC can adjust the output voltage to a minimum of 500mV. The adjustable version has two additional external resistors and operates at 500mV to VIN. Other features include output overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, thermal shutdown, clock synchronization, and up to 100% duty cycle operation for low voltage differential.
