Qorvo, a leading global provider of connectivity and power solutions, today announced that MediaTek has selected Qorvo as a key supplier of the first-ever Wi-Fi 7 Front-End Module (FEM) on the MediaTek MT6653 Wi-Fi 7/Bluetooth single-chip. both Qorvo's Wi-Fi 7 FEM and the MediaTek Qorvo's Wi-Fi 7 FEM and the MediaTek MT6653 used in the Dimensity 9400 platform have been optimised to help enhance the performance, power efficiency and technical features of Wi-Fi 7 in mobile devices to deliver a best-in-class end-user experience.

Qorvo offers a broad, advanced portfolio of Wi-Fi 7 FEMs for mobile applications, enabling customers to select the ideal solution for their specific products and market segments. Qorvo's Wi-Fi 7 FEMs for mobile applications offer flexibility in power management and efficiency, which is critical to meeting the performance demands of 5G smartphones. These solutions are equipped with additional transmit modes to improve efficiency and throughput across the entire operating power range. qorvo FEMs support both linear and non-linear architectures, as well as a wide range of high and low power products. Support is available across the entire Wi-Fi 7 spectrum for a wide range of applications including smartphones, customer premises equipment (CPE), enterprise and industrial computing.

Qorvo also offers Wi-Fi iFEMs with integrated BAW filters to ensure optimal performance and reduce board space requirements while increasing efficiency and throughput.

Qorvo Wi-Fi 7 FEMs supporting the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 platform will ship in volume in the fourth quarter of 2024.
