The BCM56304 is the fifth generation of the highly integrated, cost-effective Broadcom StrataSwitch and StrataXGS product lines in a single-chip solution with 24 GbE ports and four 10 GbE/HiGig+ uplink ports. The BCM56304 is a member of the Value GbE product line, and in the Functional GbE product family - The BCM56504 has a pin-compatible counterpart. the BCM56304 contains 24 GbE ports and can operate at 10/100/1000 Mbps. the uplink ports can operate in two modes.
